This is a specialty black formulated using the classic California west coast style mix of the 1970's and 80's.
A thinner viscosity than Lining Black and a shade less dense, it is designed for those that do fine line single needle, or smaller groupings such as 3–5 liners for delicate work.
Fantastic for breaking down into gray washes using just water, but not recommended for dark black shading.
